AP Exams Go Digital in May 2025

AP Exams will transition to a digital format for 28 subjects, offering a modernized and streamlined testing experience. While most questions will be completed on a digital platform, certain subjects will still require handwritten responses for specific tasks.

Starting in fall 2025, SHSAT will transition to a digital format, marking a significant change in the admissions process for the city’s elite specialized high schools. While a computer-adaptive format may be introduced in the future, the 2025 SHSAT will maintain its traditional structure in a digital format.
